Who's in charge? Safe Sleeping
#Who’s in Charge?”
NHS Frimley and Frimley Healthier Together are championing resources to prompt parents and carers to think, plan and share “Who’s in Charge?”
This is in response to sadly several baby and infant deaths where alcohol had been consumed by the responsible adult and is considered to be a contributing factor.
There are a wide range of resources available to support parents and carers with safe sleep for babies, including from The Lullaby Trust.
You’ll also find safe sleeping tips on our website.
The potentially life changing question we are asking parents and carers to consider, is ‘when you drink alcohol have you taken the time to “think, plan, and share “who is in charge?’.
